I have read in one magazine that about 70 eyes of contact lens users have lost their eyes due to acanthamoeba and about 90 eyes were lost due to champagne corks. As the number of contact-lens users has increased, the number of reported cases of acanthamoeba keratitis has also risen. If caught early, this painful eye desease can be easily treated but some patients have lost eyes to this microbe or have required corneal transplant to correct the damage.
This is how important to keep our personal care products free from microbes. Most of the caused of eye infections in several contact-lens users were linked to poor contact-lens hygiene or to using cleaning solution that did not adequately kill microbes.

It is vitally important to clean and sterilise contact lenses, maintain their good quality to meet the proper hygene and care requirements. Wearing disposable contact lenses can also lead to eye infection.
Thanks you so much for sharing your thoughts cornish kernewek
