Finding the right hair cut and style is no easy but there are notions of shape that can fulfill a good look. Basically there are two spheres, the SILHOUTTE OF THE SHAPE (the exterior line around the face ) and the interior shape ( the shape at the front of the face). We usually avoid putting the same silhoutte hair shape as the facial because this can not be accentuated. Generally there are five outline of shape that are used when cutting hair; *TRIANGLE, * REVERSE TRIANGLE, * ROUND, *RECTANGLE, and * SQUARE.
The interior shape mainly emphasizes shape around the face, specifically bangs or no bangs. If there are bangs, we must decide whether to cut them straight, rounded or asymmetric. We would simply put rounded bangs on a round face, straight bangs on a square face or wide face, or asymmetric bangs on a narrow or thin face.
The hair color is also important in creating a good look. Solid colour makes hair look thicker and denser. While, highlighted and lighter color, like blonde make hair look less dense and acccentuate movement. Hair that is darker at the bottom and lighter on the top accentuate height.
Take pictures to your style to ensure that you are both on the same page and then discuss your options. Most of all, have fun with your hair. Always remember that hair stylists will not enter the business to make their clients ugly.
