Knowing The Right Hair Cut And Style

Whenever I want a new hairstyle, I usually depend on what my hairstylish would suggest or advice. Or most of the time I imitate my favorite celebrities who have the same shape of face like mine. But is there really a magical formula that tells us the perfect hairstyle for a specific facial shape? But I guess the question is not that simple because we must look at far more complicated than that.

* HEAD SHAPE Just as clothes fall on a body type, hair falls on a head shape that must be taken into consideration when cutting the styling your hair. No gym visit can change the shape.

* HAIR TYPE AND DENSITY this tells how much can be done to change the hair. How much perming to make the hair curly or how much straightening to remonve the curl.

* DIRECTION THAT HAIR GROWS Hair growing on a 90 degree angle to the scalp will stick up if cut short. Also, hair growing on a very shallow angle means hair will not lift off the scalp. It is fallacy that hair can be train. It is not a animal. Hair groth characteristic do not change.

* BODY TYPE AND HEIGHT The look must flatter the body type and height. A big hair works best for biggest bodies, making the hair bigger makes the head overall look proportionate to the body. The reverse is also true. A petite body looks proportionate with a smaller hair look.

A tall person often looks better with longer hair so that hair head doesn't look separated from the body. A short person looks more proportionate with shorter hair than longer hair can overshadow her.

Good info.

Life is so much easier now I have retired and don't have to worry what people think. I have my hair cut in a short bob all one length then grow it to my shoulders, then have it cut again. Styling easy as just dry with my head upside down and it falls perfectly in place :)
