It was said that products such as cosmetics would not be readily available unless they were safe. The manufacturers and advertisers reinforce the belief of "nourishing", "revitalizing" or "natural" properties. I was just wondering how safe are these?... Can they really help maintain an unblemished, youthful complexion and they want as to believe?
Nearly one in four of the people questiones claimed to have suffere an allergic reaction using a cosmetic including make-up, foundations and moisturizers.
The commision point out, under EU (European Union), that it is the manufacturer's responsibility to ensure that a cosmetic product sold within the EU and must not cause harm to human health when applied under normal or reasonably foreseeable conditions of use. But is the safety test adequate?... Do the new animal test give reliable results and is the product really safe to use in large or long-term exposure to the chemicals damages the health of prefessionals who work with them?
Most cosmetics are perfectly sahe if used correctly and relatively few people will ever suffer any real problems with them. If a product don't work for you, there are plenty more to choose from. It must be said however, that allergies, are not considered for any individual to have a sudden and unexpected adverse reaction to the most harmless ingredients imaginable.
